Our Story

The Neighborhood Company was formed in 2015 at the request of a local real estate developer. At that time, the developer was having issues with their association management. Laura Ficco was 29 years into her career in real estate development and was having those same issues with the large-scale management companies. She had some great ideas and knew she was up to the task, so she formed The Neighborhood Company.

Today, we manage over 22 communities of all shapes and sizes.

We manage

  • homeowner-led communities.

With over 35 years in various roles in real estate development, this mother of two grown daughters started The Neighborhood Company after identifying a need for a higher level of customer service in the property management industry.

Originally from Collinsville, Illinois, outside St. Louis, Beverly moved to Texas following her parents’ retirement to San Antonio. The youngest of seven children, Beverly says that family, sports and military service are cornerstones of her life.
