The Neighborhood Company was formed in 2015 at the request of a local real estate developer. At that time, the developer was having issues with their association management. Laura Ficco was 29 years into her career in real estate development and was having those same issues with the large-scale management companies. She had some great ideas and knew she was up to the task, so she formed The Neighborhood Company.
Today, we manage over 22 communities of all shapes and sizes.
With over 35 years in various roles in real estate development, this mother of two grown daughters started The Neighborhood Company after identifying a need for a higher level of customer service in the property management industry.

Heidi Krasner joins the team after 27 years working in healthcare. She was the Clinical Nurse Manager at a major hospital system in Chicago, IL.
Originally from Collinsville, Illinois, outside St. Louis, Beverly moved to Texas following her parents’ retirement to San Antonio. The youngest of seven children, Beverly says that family, sports and military service are cornerstones of her life.
With more than two decades of property management experience, Sally Needham brings a unique set of skills to The Neighborhood Company. While Sally loves that, “No two days are the same,” her ongoing responsibilities include all aspects of accounting under the umbrella of property management.
Lauren started with The Neighborhood Company in 2020 taking on all things amenity-related. After graduating from the Colorado School of Mines, she became our Salesforce Analyst and Software Project Manager.
Christina Flugrath came to Vintage Oaks in May of 2017. She’s been in property management for over 28 years now. “You’d think I’ve seen it all, but our owners still can surprise me. I’ve been able to get to really know many of them and their families, and it makes our work so personal to me.
Cesar’s storied career includes decades of project and property management expertise.
With over 20 years of experience in Property Management and Real Estate, Alex brings a multitude of experiences and perspectives to The Neighborhood Company.
Cathy comes to us from Hawaii and is now landlocked in Cibolo, Texas due to a military move. Prior to working in property management, she worked in Washington DC on Capitol Hill and volunteered extensively at San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC/BAMC).
John Needham spent decades in the food industry, managing restaurants and also owning one. That experience set the table for a part-time career during semi-retirement at The Neighborhood Company—one that is equally based on customer service.
Brenna Bryant was hired by The Neighborhood Company in 2021, after being self-employed for 15 years. Having grown up in a family-owned General Contracting business located in the Napa Valley, she has always enjoyed all aspects of design, building and property management
