The Neighborhood Company was formed in 2015 at the request of a local real estate developer who was having issues with their association management. Laura Ficco was 29 years into her career in real estate development and was having those same issues with large-scale management companies. She had some great ideas and knew she was up to the task, so she formed a lifestyle management company of her own, The Neighborhood Company (TNC).

With over 35 years in various roles in real estate development, this mother of two grown daughters started The Neighborhood Company after identifying a need for a higher level of customer service in the property management industry.
Tate’s career is a synergy of highly-accomplished military service and successful entrepreneurial ventures. His 26-year career in the United States Air Force covered a vast array of experience and leadership roles, culminating in a distinguished, highly decorated and honorable service commitment.
Michelle has over 20 years of experience focusing on brand management across all things touching marketing and communications. From event planning, website revival, internal and external communication to social media, her background in graphic design enables her to add creative flair in the process.
Heidi joins the team after 27 years working in healthcare. She was the Clinical Nurse Manager at a major hospital system in Chicago, IL.
Carla is originally from Sioux City, Iowa, and spent 20 years in the Air Force working in Administration. Before starting at The Neighborhood Company in 2022, she worked as a model attendant for a homebuilder in Vintage Oaks.
After founding and running her own business for many years, Christy decided if she was going to work for another company, it would be another woman-own company! In 2023, Christy joined The Neighborhood Company’s customer service team to put her people skills to work.
Cesar’s storied career includes decades of project and property management. From his 11+ years of commercial property management, to his project management skills as a procurement manager on a renewable energy project and designing and building OSP fiber networks…
Cathy comes to us from Hawaii and is now landlocked in Cibolo, Texas due to a military move. Prior to working in property management, she worked in Washington DC on Capitol Hill and volunteered extensively at San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC/BAMC).
Katie joined The Neighborhood Company in May 2022. Prior to joining us, she worked as an Escrow Assistant at a title company in New Braunfels. Katie brings a decade of consumer-facing experience and organizational expertise to her Assistant Community Manager role.
Joining the Neighborhood Company in October 2022, Monique comes from a marketing and events background with years of experience within Homeowner Associations.
After running her own business for 15 years, Megen was ready for a change and looking for that family feel. She was hired in 2023 as a Lifestyle & Communications Coordinator focusing on event planning.
Eunice joined The Neighborhood Company in 2022 as our Amenity Reservations Coordinator. She equips our owners with the necessary details to properly reserve a community amenity, as well as ensures they understand what the HOA/POA provides versus what they must provide.
John spent decades in the food industry, managing restaurants and also owning one. That experience set the table for a part-time career during semi-retirement at The Neighborhood Company—one that is equally based on customer service.
Lauren started with The Neighborhood Company in 2020 taking on all things amenity-related. After graduating from the Colorado School of Mines, she became our Salesforce Analyst and Software Project Manager.
Originally from Collinsville, Illinois, outside St. Louis, Beverly moved to Texas following her parents’ retirement to San Antonio. The youngest of seven children, Beverly says that family, sports and military service are cornerstones of her life.
Tina brings over 35 years of experience to our accounting team. She has an extensive background in both the public and private accounting sectors as well as 15 years of business software consulting.
With more than two decades of property management experience, Sally brings a unique set of skills to The Neighborhood Company. While Sally loves that, “No two days are the same,” her ongoing responsibilities include all aspects of accounting under the umbrella of property management.
